Carson J. Goldin

Carson J. Goldin is a designer born and raised in Atlanta, GA. After years of working in designing medical devices, he felt a calling to create his own designer eyewear brand. He felt his passion for art and fashion combined with his design experience could allow him to elevate the eyewear industry to a new level.

Tristan Hackman

Shortly after starting J. Goldin, Carson found and teamed up with designer Tristan Hackman who had recently left his role at Matsuda Eyewear and was looking to find a platform to grow into a lead designer where he could express himself and have more direct control over the vision of a creative eyewear brand.

Better yet, they both found themselves to be located in the same city. 

It truly was a serendipitous alignment. 

Both designers growing up in Atlanta, Georgia had a lot in common. Inspired by their local art scene, they wanted to find a way to contribute to the vibrant artist community and uplift their creative peers while also growing their brand.

They both bonded over their desire to create subtle, high quality designs. They felt there was a hole in the eyewear industry that needed to be filled in this domain. 

Carson and Tristan aspire to create designs that elevate the individual's style instead of steal the show. Now J. Goldin is in the process of releasing its GENESI collection, all hand-made in Italy styles with timeless and clean designs that can compliment the individual while retaining quality and quiet luxury. All while doing this, J. Goldin is outsourcing all of their marketing to local artists elevating the same communities that planted the seed of their dream.
